And, predictably, they rejected me.
I asked them why and they asked me to re-apply again. On receiving my 2nd application they agreed I should be on the course but there were no spare places. They promised me feedback, but it never came.

I'm Directing my first feature film in Jan. I'll just say that again slightly louder - I'M DIRECTING MY FIRST F******* FEATURE FILM IN JAN.
So clearly I would be part of the target audience I would have thought.
Once again I am forced to believe that the BFI and the UKFC do not actually help film makers make films. They just like to do stuff that is fun for their mates, and if you look at their facebooks, you will see that they are all chums with each other.
Will nobody help me make a film?
Tomorrow I'm going down their to see if I can win them round with my cheery wink and silver tongue. Failing that, I'm bringing an AK47...
